Shlomo
Gadot, BSc. and MBA, Co-Founder and CEO
– Mr. Gadot has 20 years of experience in
the design of modem chips for wideband applications.
Prior to founding Modem-Art, Mr. Gadot worked
for Tadiran (a leading company in Israeli industry),
AT&T Paradyne and AT&T Bell Labs. Mr.
Gadot has an extensive experience in developing
system-on-a-chip communications systems in the
areas of HDSL, ADSL and wireless local loop systems.
Mr. Gadot first introduced the concept of a Programmable
Modem Engine for DSL family of ASIC products for
AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mr. Gadot is a graduate
of the Technion Israel institute of technologies,
and has a master in business administration from
the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Dr. Yossi
Kofman, Co-Founder and CEO – Dr.
Kofman has 15 years of experience in broadband
communications systems, both cellular and DSL
technology. Prior to founding Modem-Art, Dr. Kofman
was a system engineer and project leader in Geotek
Communications. Geotek developed an advanced digital
cellular system for voice and data services. In
Geotek, he was responsible for the system engineering
of the mobile and portable phones as well as for
the development of the baseband chip-set. Prior
to Geotek, Dr. Kofman worked in Teledata Communications
where he led the design and development of multi-service
DSL based access system. Dr. Kofman has a Ph.D.
in Communications Theory from the Technion, Israel
Institute of Technology.
Rafy Carmon,
MSc. VP R&D – Mr. Carmon
has 15 years of R&D experience in the cellular
and wireless field. As a Department Head for Motorola
Israel, Mr. Carmon led the development of a highly
secured cellular and TETRA two-way communication
handsets. Mr. Carmon represented Motorola in the
TETRA ETSI standardization committees. Mr. Carmon
authored 8 patents in the cellular field and was
awarded the highly prestigious Motorola award.
Mr. Carmon is a graduate of The Electrical Engineering
Facilities of the Tel Aviv University
