MA1000 Overview

MA1050: 3G W-CDMA Programmable Baseband Processor
Modem-Art’s Programmable Baseband Processor, the MA1050, has been designed and optimized for W-CDMA (UMTS) terminals. The MA1050 incorporates the PME for implementing the W-CDMA physical layer. As a programmable baseband processor with high system functionality, the MA1050 provides significant advantages and benefits for terminal manufacturers. It provides a smooth evolution path by implementing Release 1999 and Release 4 of the 3GPP standard and reduces terminal development time and cost by minimizing the design, testing and production cycles.
